ORing's 5G Smart Pole and AIoT Seminar a Roaring Success!
The seminar on 5G smart poles and AIoT solutions hosted by ORing in December 2021 was completed successfully with attendance higher than expected. The seminar was held in collaboration with several market leaders including IP surveillance solution provider Axis, network communication distributor Zero One Tech, and green solution provider eTreego. Through cross-industry partnerships, ORing aims to create a complete 5G and AIoT ecosystem to drive the development of smart cities in Taiwan.
AIoT is an important trend that combines AI and IoT to process and communicate data more efficiently and 5G is a key driver of AIoT applications. 5G and AIoT are considered the foundations for smart cities, which have become one of ORing’s major businesses in recent years. Over the years, ORing has established solid IoT technology and developed a wide range of smart city solutions, including smart streetlight controllers. The head start has gained ORing the lion’s share of Taiwan’s smart streetlight market. On the seminar, the presenters shared their views and personal experience as well as market trends to provide insights on the future of 5G and AIoT technology. ORing also showcased its 5G solutions designed for its partners Axis and eTreego and demonstrated how its 5G IoT gateways, light source controllers, PoE switches, and remote I/O modules worked hand in hand with Axis’ IP surveillance systems and eTreego’s smart charging stations to protect people’s safety and brings more convenience to their lives.
Smart poles are an essential part of smart city infrastructure. They can be equipped with a variety of devices to serve different purposes such as IP cameras, traffic management systems, environmental monitors, light controllers, solar panels, and even charging stations for electric vehicles. ORing not only offers a full array of devices to enable seamless and uninterrupted data communications between smart poles and control rooms, it also customizes its solutions to ensure interoperability with third-parties’ devices on the smart poles.
Currently, ORing has completed several projects jointly with Axis and have integrated its solutions in smart charging stations with a number of projects underway. ORing will continue to expand and strength cooperation with partners in different industries to help Taiwan transforms to smart cities.
