PoE Power Boost
Provide PoE/PoE+ power at 50VDC even with non-50VDC power sources
Many PoE and PoE+ devices are designed to operate with 50VDC power input for optimal efficiency, but there are many places, such as vehicles, etc., that have power supplies with source voltages other than 50VDC. To use 50VDC PoE and PoE+ devices in those places, a voltage converter would be needed, which takes up additional cost and space. It would be nice to have a PoE P.S.E. (power sourcing equipment) that accepts a wide range of DC input voltages and output 50VDC on all of its P.S.E. Ethernet ports.
Introduce ORing's innovative Power Boost technology, which boosts power from 12~36VDC to 50VDC without the need for an external voltage converter. With this technology, ORing's PoE/PoE+ Ethernet switches can draw power from any standard DC voltage, e.g. 12VDC or 24VDC from vehicles, and render 50VDC of PoE/PoE+ power for IP suveillance or other devices needing such voltage inputs -- without taking additional cost and space.
