Description
IDS-312L is a secure industrial serial-to-Ethernet device server designed to connect legacy RS-232/422/485 devices to modern Ethernet and IIoT networks. It features one configurable RS-232/422/485 DB9 serial port and two 10/100Base-T(X) Ethernet ports, supporting Virtual COM, Serial Tunnel, TCP Server, TCP Client, UDP, and Modbus Gateway modes for flexible serial device integration.
For reliable and secure industrial communications, IDS-312L supports simultaneous data transmission to up to five redundant host devices, along with SSL encryption, HTTPS/SSH secure management, and IP whitelisting. Built-in Modbus TCP/RTU/ASCII gateway functionality and ORing Open Gateway further simplify protocol conversion and IIoT deployment.
Designed for harsh industrial environments, IDS-312L provides dual redundant 12–48VDC power inputs, an IP30 rugged enclosure, and a wide −40°C to 70°C operating temperature range for dependable operation in factory automation, industrial control, and remote equipment connectivity applications.
