Solution

EA Anywhere installed 600 units of ORing’s IES-1080A industrial Ethernet switches at its charging stations across Bangkok. With a compact form factor, the switches can be accommodated in the cabinet easily. The wide operating temperature range from 40 to 70°C and the rigid IP-30 housing enables the switches to operate in high heat and rainy days. The redundant power supply ensures the switches to be powered up continuously when one of the power supply units fails as the other power supply will take over immediately.

Through the data collected and transmitted from the IES-1080A industrial Ethernet switches, EA Anywhere is able to identify the most frequently occupied stations and the busy hours of each station. It turns out stations with high charging power and a large number of charging ports are not necessarily the most frequently used stations. These analysis results have enabled EA Anywhere to make improvement efficiently, thus enhancing customers’ user experience.
