ORing Industrial Networking, a leading provider of industrial networking solutions, today announced that its Greenhouse Gas (GHG) claims have been verified by the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), a renowned Taiwan-based applied technology research institute. The recent acquisition of the Greenhouse Gas Verification Opinion not only independently validates the accuracy of ORing's GHG calculations and statements in accordance with the ISO 14064-1:2018 international standard but also underscores ORing's unwavering dedication to environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
Throughout the verification period spanning from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2022, ITRI meticulously scrutinized ORing's GHG claims across various categories, encompassing direct and indirect emissions, energy imports, transportation, and product usage. This comprehensive evaluation process has yielded a reasonable level of assurance, signifying ITRI's confidence in the precision and transparency of ORing's claims.
ITRI's verification opinion affirms that ORing's GHG statements closely adhere to the stipulations of ISO 14064-1:2018. In its final Greenhouse Gas Verification Opinion, ITRI stated there is sufficient evidence that ORing's GHG data and related information are presented fairly and are not substantially different from the unmodified historical data. ITRI's endorsement affirms that ORing takes its environmental responsibility seriously, ensuring the utmost accuracy in its GHG reporting.
The validation of ORing's GHG claims showcases its dedication to sustainability, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices, and the broader realms of social responsibility. Through the precise quantification of its carbon footprint and adherence to globally recognized standards, ORing reaffirms its role as an environmentally-conscious industry leader. By remaining dedicated to proactive measures that minimize its ecological footprint, ORing not only offers innovative networking solutions but also actively contributes to sustainable and green initiatives.
