ORing Launches New Ethernet Switch For the Hot-Swappable Design to Keep the network working

ORing is pleased to launch a new model of Ethernet switch, IGS-9122GPM, because of the Enthernet has been increasingly adopted for the industry.  Therefore, we are continuing research and design for new models which use for strict requirements such as railway applications.  To overcome those harsh environments, ORing has thus released a powerful and stable new industrial Ethernet switch also obtained the EN50121-4 certification.

The newest switch IGS-9122GPM, has the modular and hot-swappable design can make the network plan easily. There are up to 7 different kinds of modules for you to deploy. It includes bypass module which can make sure your network traffic still continue as one of devices in the meddle of daisy chain loss it’s power or two of devices in a ring connection power down due to unexpected reason. Moreover, we provide module with M12 connector, it is the best choice for Railway application.  Most important is the switch designed for Hot-swappable, when the external factors need to change the modules it can make the system continue to working and uninterruptible power supply.

In addition, the IGS-9122GPM supports a variety of redundancy technologies to enable fast fault recovery. Besides standard MSTP, STP, and RSTP, the switches also support ORing’s proprietary O-Ring self-healing technology to make the system structure stronger and robust. 

Furthermore, our new model switch also successfully passed the EN 50121-4 which related to signal and telecommunication can be installed in railway environments such as platforms, control centers and trackside.  This product can make the clients extend their networks faster also reduce costs and make the system more efficiently.
