IES-3162GC features comprehensive Ethernet redundancy protection, rugged IP-30 housing design, and visually centralized network management (via bundled Open-Vision v3.0 software).
ORing IES-3162GC protects mission-critical applications from network interruptions with redundant power inputs and comprehensive Ethernet redundancy protocols: O-Ring, Open-Ring, and O-RSTP. O-Ring is the ultra-fast network redundancy recovery technology, with network recovery time of less than 10 ms for over 250 units of connections. Open-Ring technology allows ORing Ethernet switches to be connected to other vendors’ Ethernet switches with flawless functionality. O-RSTP technology enables easy handling of complex network topologies. Moreover, IES-3162GC also supports standard IEEE 802.1s/w/D Ethernet redundancy protocols: MSTP, RSTP, and STP. With rugged IP-30 housing, IES-3162GC is designed for tough environments. Not only is IES-3162GC rigid externally, it can also withstand wide temperature variations from -40 to 70 Degree.
