2020 marks ORing's 15th year in the industrial networking industry. In celebration of the anniversary, ORing has rolled out a new design for its official website to provide customers with more user-friendly experience through a sleek and modern look as well as an intuitive and responsive interface.

The website has been revamped to include new features and improved functionality so customers can discover and consume content they need more easily. On the home page, customers can browse through the use cases in different industries that have adopted ORing’s products and solutions. The use cases will serve as useful references when planning and deploying industrial Ethernet or smart city solutions. In light with ORing’s “Get Connected Anytime, Anywhere” commitment and users’ expectations to access websites on any devices, the newly designed website features a responsive layout which works on every device and every screen size, no matter how large or small, mobile or desktop.

Looking back over the past 14 years, despite many ups and downs, ORing has achieved many significant milestones, especially in the fast-growing IIoT market. After forming partnerships with two major players in the IIoT field, Cirrus Link and Inductive Automation, ORing also joined Eclipse Foundation’s Sparkplug Working Group to work with the foundation in the journey towards a more connected world. In alignment with its commitment to accelerate IIoT adoption, ORing has launched MagiCollector and MagiCity to strengthen its ORing PaaS solution. Last year, ORing also formed strategic alliances with the Weidmüller Group, an international market leader in industrial connectivity and automation, which acquired a 17.5% stake in ORing.

“It's been a bumpy start to 2020 due to the Covid-19 outbreak which has disrupted the global supply chain entirely and hit the global economy hard,” said Angus Shih, ORing Founder and CEO. “Amid the ongoing uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus crisis, ORing has gone all out to protect our employees from the risk of infection by taking several preventive measures such as temperature checks, deep cleaning in our offices, cancelling nonessential international business trips and group events and meetings, and developing work-from-home contingency plans. We have also tried our best to minimize the impact on our customers. For example, we have enhanced our online support while keeping in contact with our customers and providing services via digital means. While the battle is not over yet, we are grateful for what we have achieved in the competitive industry over the past years and will spare no efforts to help our employees and customers through this challenging time.”
