Background Introduction

Petra is a historical city in Jordan. The City was established possibly as early as 312 BC and it’s known for its rock-cut architecture and rich culture. Since 1985, Petra has been one of the UNESCO World Heritage Site and the world famous tourist attraction.

To protect the city from any external damage factors, this project is implemented with the wireless surveillance system. Through the 24 hour monitoring, the high resolution monitoring image of the city can be transmitted to the control center for Omni bearing surveillance.

Under this critical worling condition, ORing's IAP-W512+ plays an important and centerd place in this wireless control system, offerig relaible and stable data transmission.
