A driving school in Beijing needed a wireless surveillance system for five examination vehicles. The system had to transmit live video to a control room, allowing evaluators to observe students’ driving performance remotely, including during high-speed driving.

Solution

ORing provided five IAP-420 wireless access points, one for each examination vehicle. Inside each vehicle, a cabin camera connected to a Hikvision DVR, which linked to the IAP-420 to transmit surveillance video wirelessly to the control center.

An IGAP-W612H+ IP67-rated wireless access point at the control center received video from the examination vehicles. This setup gave evaluators a live view of students behind the wheel, supporting remote observation throughout the driving test.
