Solution

To build a reliable IP surveillance network for the oil field, ORing deployed 140 units of IES-1050A industrial Ethernet switches and 35 units of IES-3082GP industrial managed PoE Ethernet switches throughout the site.

The compact, DIN-rail mountable switches provide reliable network connectivity for distributed surveillance devices while meeting the requirements of harsh industrial environments. The IES-3082GP managed switches serve as key network nodes, providing PoE connectivity and managed networking capabilities for efficient transmission of surveillance video and data.

To improve network availability, the switches are configured into three redundant Ethernet ring networks. These rings are interconnected to create a resilient industrial communication infrastructure, helping maintain continuous data transmission even in the event of a network link failure.

With rugged industrial Ethernet connectivity, network redundancy, and PoE support, ORing's solution provides the oil field with a stable and scalable IP surveillance network for continuous security monitoring and reliable operation across the site.
