Sanmin Senior High School in New Taipei City held its third annual Shi Fang-Ting Memorial and Scholarship Award Ceremony under the theme “Love Is Always Here,” honoring the late teacher’s dedication to education and transforming her spirit of care into ongoing support for students.
The event was supported by the ORing Dagan Cultural and Arts Foundation, ORing Industrial Networking, and community partners. A total of 62 scholarships, were awarded to students and teams demonstrating excellence in academics, character, arts, sports, technology, and service learning. Recipient groups included the school’s wind orchestra, rowing team, robotics team, and scout group, reflecting the school’s commitment to diverse and inclusive education pathways.
Principal Peng emphasized that the scholarship program is now an integral part of the school’s approach to whole-person education, helping students pursue their aspirations regardless of background or discipline.
Student representatives shared that the scholarships have enabled teams to upgrade equipment and training resources, reducing financial barriers and allowing students to focus fully on learning, teamwork, and perseverance. More importantly, they said, the program offers encouragement that motivates them not to give up when challenges arise.
By supporting this program, ORing reinforces its commitment to education, social responsibility, and long-term community development, helping turn values into action and create positive, lasting impact for future generations.
