As IoT evolves and proliferates into every industry sector, wireless solutions are widely deployed to compensate for the limitations of wired networks. As a result, building reliable cellular connectivity between field sites and control centers has been paramount for many network constructors.
ORing is honored to announce that its IMG-4312D+-D4G media gateway has recently received Open Development Certification from Verizon and has been certified by AT&T Mobility. The certifications mean IMG-4312D+-D4G can operate on the 4G LTE networks of these two telecoms in the US. For more information, please visit Verizon's website at https://opendevelopment.verizonwireless.com/device-showcase/device/11979.
Featuring Wi-Fi, serial, digital I/O and Ethernet ports, IMG-4312D+-D4G can be flexibly connected to different kinds of equipment for backhauling of data to data centers through WAN interfaces. With VPN supported, users can create encrypted connections with another network over the Internet to ensure data transmission security.
Wired & Wireless Integration
IMG-4312D+-D4G cellular gateway can be powered by PSE, which not only simplifies power wiring, but also allows the device to be integrated with existing PoE networks.
On-site operators can use handheld devices to connect factory systems through Wi-Fi. In the meantime, remote users can access factory data via the cloud or remote login, significantly improving the flexibility of monitoring and management.
Reliable Cellular Connectivity
The dual-SIM design offers failover redundancy. By inserting two SIM cards from different ISPs, the second SIM card will be used as a backup.
Once the primary connection fails, the second SIM card will take over automatically to ensure continued network connections.
Open Gateway Software Features
Acting as a protocol converter between field devices and servers, IMG-4312D+-D4G supports various communication protocols. Network configuration can be done on a simple and user-friendly web UI, saving time and increasing management efficiency.
We understand setting up VPN is complicated and that's why we rolled out our latest connectivity solution – MagiConnect. With an intuitive interface, MagiConnect greatly simplifies the steps of VPN setting. On ORing's PaaS cloud platform, the administrator can connect to the cloud via the MagiConnect Portal for remote management and tracking.
Edge to Cloud Solution
Featuring ORing's excellent MagiCollect technology, IMG-4312D+-D4G is able to report data from connected devices to the ORing-PaaS cloud. The administrator can control and monitor remote devices on a single platform. In addition, ORing-PaaS cloud is built in with Node-RED to facilitate programming
