Computex Taipei 2014 has drawn to an end. Once again ORing has demonstrated its competence in developing customer-focused products for extreme industrial applications.
2014 has been a productive year for ORing as evidenced by the wide variety of products on display at the event, from high-performance managed switches to cost-effective value-line counterparts. In line with ORing’s business focuses, the demonstration has centered on four vertical markets: IP surveillance, rolling stocks, oil & gas, and power substations. To achieve the high standards of safety in operation, most of ORing’s products have passed the industrial standards such as EN 50155/EN50121, ATEX & C1D2, and IEC 61850, depending on their applications.
Besides the IES-A3000 C1D2/ATEX Ethernet switches designed for oil & gas applications, ORing also presented the EN50155-compliant T-series for railway applications boasting Gigabit speed, rigid M12 connectors, PoE support, and bypass functions. Switches in this series such as TGPS-9164GT-M12-BP2 and TES-3162GT can ensure reliable and fast data transmission in moving vehicles. For power substations, customers’ demand is met with the modular Layer 3 switch, RGS-PR9000 and RES-P3242 switches due to their IEC-61850 compliance.
ORing’s seminar and training course were also well attended by our distributors and international visitors. Apart from the introduction of new products, ORing also unveiled its plan for next year. “As ORing steps into its 10th year in 2015”, said ORing CEO Angus Shih. “We are all geared up to achieve more milestones. Hence, we have increased our R&D investment and continued to expand our product line-ups.”
Computex Taipei 2014 has ended, but ORing’s journey to fulfill a more courageous vision continues. We look forward to bringing you more exciting products at Computex Taipei 2015.
