ORing Launches New Media Converter to Support 10GBase-T Copper Port with Cat6A shielded cable.

ORing has announced a cost-effective media converter with the ability for the interface conversion between 1G/10GBase-T and 1G/10GBase-X SFP+ socket. In addition, it is allow extending the communication distance limitation. The ITGMC-111GP+ is designed with wide operating temperature range from -20 ~ 60oC and accepts a wide voltage range from dual 12~48 VDC redundant power inputs, so it is suitable for harsh operating environments.

For the application, it mostly use in the Network backbone, can connect with the wireless AP, server and NAS to expend the bandwidth. Earlier, if we want to get more bandwidth over 1G, we will use LACP function and 2 pieces RJ45 to increase it from 1G to 2G. However, due to the demand of the access is increasing, to let the network port maximization of utility. We introduce our 10G media converter; it can be used directly without setting(uPnP) and maximum the bandwidth to 10G, can save more installation time also conform to long distance requirement.

Designed to work in harsh environments of temperature extremes, humidity, and vibration, the media converter provides a wide operating temperature ranging from -20°C to +60°C and two power inputs for redundancy. The media converter is an ideal choice for customers in search of cost-effective solutions for building and control center applications.
