Following the launch of TGXPS-1080 and TXPS-1080-M12 in July, ORing has added a new model to the series. The TGXS-1080-M12 supports multiple speeds in a robust industrial design, providing railway customers with a cost-effective solution for easy upgrade of existing networks.

Designed for railway applications, the TGXS-1080-M12 full-Gigabit industrial Ethernet switch provides support for 100 Mbps, 500 Mbps, and 1 Gbps speeds. The capability of delivering 500 Mbps enables railway customers to easily boost the speed of their existing networks by five times without re-cabling, thereby protecting their existing investment and avoiding service downtime. As the TGXS-1080-M12 will adjust the speed automatically, customers are free from the worry of network incompatibility if other switches on the same network do not support 500 Mbps.

The TGXS-1080-M12 comes with a robust design that conforms to the requirements in rolling stock applications, including M12 connectors for ensuring robust connections, a wide operating temperature range from -40^oC to 75^oC for operating in harsh environments, compliance with EN50155, and an IP-30 casing for ingress protection.
