ORing Industrial Networking today announced a strategic partnership with Ampak Technology, becoming its global distribution partner for Ampak’s M.2 wireless modules, including M.2 2230 Wi-Fi 6/6E and M.2 Key B 5G RedCap solutions. Through this collaboration, ORing enables industrial customers to deploy high data rate, low latency, and reliable wireless connectivity for industrial IoT and embedded systems. The partnership combines Ampak’s expertise in wireless module design with ORing’s global sales network, technical support capabilities, and industrial networking experience.

The partnership also brings Ampak’s APM5035M2 5G RedCap module to ORing’s industrial customer base. 5G RedCap is designed for industrial IoT applications that need lower cost and power consumption than full 5G, while still supporting reliable wide-area connectivity, low latency, and strong security.
Positioned between LTE and full 5G, RedCap is ideal for smart sensors, asset tracking, condition monitoring, remote diagnostics, and other applications where efficiency and stable long-term connectivity are more important than peak data speed.
Powered by the Qualcomm SDX35 chipset, the APM5035M2 supports Sub-6GHz 5G NR, LTE Cat 4 fallback, and embedded GNSS for location-based applications. With AT command and API support, it also helps OEMs and system integrators accelerate industrial IoT development.
