ORing now has released the Gigabit PoE switch – IGPS-1080A, the unmanaged Ethernet switch that combines the performance of Gigabit networking and the convenience of IEEE 802.3at Power-over-Ethernet feature (ample power of up to 30 watts per P.S.E. port) in the slim yet rugged IP-30 housing.
Physically IGPS-1080A is only 2.61 cm wide and has installation options of DIN-Rail and wall mount. But don’t be fooled by its small size. All of its 8 Ethernet ports are 10/100/1000Base-T(X) Gigabit P.S.E. ports supporting IEEE 802.3at PoE standard, which means that each port is capable of supporting high power to remote PD (up to 30 watts supplied to each powered device) and yet sustains data transmission speed of over 1 Gbps. Thus IGPS-1080A is suitable for supporting surveillance cameras and other IEEE-802.3at-compliant powered devices requiring high power input. Additionally, it supports features such as auto-negotiation, auto-MDI/MDI-X, store-and-forward transmission, flow control, and many more.
IGPS-1080A is especially designed for network reliability and stability in mind. With rugged IP-30 housing, IGPS-1080Ahas wide operating temperature range from -40oC to 70oC. Additionally, IGPS-1080A supports two different power inputs to avoid network interruption caused by power outage. When the primary DC power input fails, the backup power input will take over immediately to guarantee a non-stop operation.
