With four 10G ports and eight Gigabit P.S.E. ports, the EN-50155 compliant TRGPS-9084TG-M12X-BP2-MV can ensure seamless data transmission to the backbone network, even when transmitting high-resolution image or video data. Each of the P.S.E ports can provide up to 30 Watts of power to PDs such as IP cameras, significantly reducing installation hassle and costs. This is very important for railway applications due to confined spaces in train compartments.
To bring out the true performance of the 10G ports, the M12 connectors adopted in this switch are X-code connectors. Compared to traditional M12 connectors, M12 X-code connectors boast superior signal strength for high-speed Ethernet data transfers, hence ensuring uninterrupted network services. With the ability to handle high bandwidth files and minimize transfer time, the M12 X-code connectors significantly reduce data bottlenecks and improve network performance.
In addition to ORing's proprietary network redundancy technology including O-Ring and O-Chain, the switch also comes with two bypass ports to prevent single points of failure caused by device errors such as hardware breakdown, power supply problems, or software lock-in. By enabling data to bypass the inactive node and continue to be routed to the next active switch in the relay, the switch adds an extra level of resilience to the deployments.
