In light with the new regulations regarding radio and telecommunications terminal equipment and the eco-design requirements for energy-related products in Europe, ORing today released a declaration of confirmation to certify its network products comply with these directives.
Due to the prevalence of wireless and radio equipment, the European Commission has replaced the R&TTE Directive with the Radio Equipment Directive 2014/53/EU RED in 2016. The EU has also introduced the Eco-design Directive with an aim to minimize the negative environmental impact of certain products. Manufacturers and suppliers of wireless equipment looking to access the EU market place are required to demonstrate compliance with these directives.
Committed to meet strict safety, health, and environmental protection requirements, ORing confirms its products sold for use in the EU region are CE marked with the declaration of confirmation. Below is a list of ORing's designated products in conformity with the provisions of the 2014/53/EU R&TTE Directive and 2006/95/EC and 2014/30/EC Eco-design Directive, including industrial cellular routers, access points, media gateways, and device servers.
